Matt and Emily got Aidan some working toy firetrucks for his recent birthday and he loves them! He and Reese drive all over the house making firetruck noises and pretending to fight fires and rescue people in need.
Randy was grilling some hamburgers the other night and went running outside to put out a grease fire. Aidan did not miss a beat and said, "My hose can't put that fire out! Uh uh!" I'm glad that he realizes the difference between real and pretend!
The other night as soon as we got home, Aidan asked me, "Mommy, where is my werererere (making firetruck noises)?" Thankfully I knew exactly what he was asking for!
